Fruit Seas Shards Guide: What it Does and How to Get

How to Get Shards

Shards are a new type of premium currency in Fruit Seas. You can purchase them with Robux, which you earn in-game, or you can obtain them for free by defeating Cursed Bosses (introduced in Update 6), World Bosses, Sea Beast, Kuma, Akainu, and Normal Mihawk. However, the drop rate for shards isn’t very high. The best way to get Shards is by repeatedly farming Alter Dracula [Cursed Boss], as they have a 70% chance of awarding you 1-5 Shards on defeat.

If you decide to go the Roblox method to get Shards, which is faster than getting them from the bosses above, it will cost you:

  • 15x Shards – 149 Robux
  • 25x Shards – 219 Robux
  • 50x Shards – 421 Robux
  • 200x Shards – 1299 Robux

What Do Shards Do?

Shards are used for two things in Fruit Seas. The first is for summoning bosses on an island called Summoning Island. You can also summon Cursed Bosses known as Alters, such as Alter Dracula and Alter Mihawk. If you do not have Shards, but you have Dark Void Stones, you can use that instead along with 1.5 million Beli.

The second option is to upgrade or ascend some fruits/weapons to make them even more powerful, but it takes millions of Beli alongside Shards. You can upgrade the following fruits:

  • String
  • Ice
  • Dough
  • Gravity
