How To Bring Back Units From Athenyx Realm Anime Defenders [Athenyx Tether]

There are two main ways to obtain Athenyx Tether in Anime Defenders to bring back units from Athenyx Realm: by leveling up the Battlepass and by completing Challenges.

Athenyx Battlepass

By completing quests and other tasks, you can advance through the Athenyx battle pass and earn Athenyx Tethers at different levels. At the start of the Battlepass, you will only receive Athenyx Tethers (Rare), which means you can only bring Rare units from the Athenyx Banner back to the main game. As you progress further in the Athenyx Battlepass, you will start to receive Epic, Legendary, and Mythic versions. Additionally, starting at level 24, you receive the first Athenyx’s Tethers (Secret), and those with the premium Athenyx Battlepass will receive two at that level.

    • Premium – Athenyx Tether (Secret) x1

Athenyx Challenges

By completing Challenges, you have the chance to receive Athenyx Tethers as rewards. Some Tethers are guaranteed rewards, while others have drop rates. Rare and Epic Athenyx Tethers are guaranteed, but the drop rates apply to Legendary, Mythic, and Secret Tethers. Here are the drop rates for each of them:

  • Athenyx’s Tether (Legendary) – 15%
  • Athenyx’s Tether (Mythic) – 5%
  • Athenyx’s Tether (Secret) – 3%

And remember, it’s not guaranteed that Athenyx’s Tether will be a reward for a challenge. It could be Star Shards or another one of the many items added in Update 5.

Keep in mind, if you wish to bring back the Secret Units you find in Athenyx, you will need Athenyx’s Tether (Secrets) to do so. Otherwise, those units can only be used in Athenyx.
