Anime Defenders Elemental Tokens Guide – How To Get Aqua, Solar and Flame Tokens

There are four main ways of obtaining Elemental Tokens in Anime Defenders: playing story mode, challenges, leveling the Battle Pass, and purchasing them with Robux. Story mode provides a good amount of tokens upon completion, depending on the chapter you are playing, while challenges offer a substantial number of tokens for clearing specific levels.

Story Mode

In story mode, completing the first few stages yields a good amount of tokens, with subsequent stages likely to provide more tokens of different elements. For example, completing Pantheon Passage gives you 20 Solar Tokens, Abyssal Gate gives you 25 Aqua Tokens, and Ruined City gives you 30 Flame Tokens, even though it says differently on the act screen, so this may be a bug. So the more you progress through the story mode, the more Tokens you’ll get.

The other three chapters may start giving you them all or repeat—Aether Gateway may give you Solar Tokens, etc. However, the newer story mode might pose a challenge even with the best meta units, so be prepared.

Challenges

The most efficient way of obtaining tokens is through challenges, as you can earn up to 75 Tokens per challenge. Some are 75 of the same element, and some have 75 splits between the two. New difficulty modifiers are in play, so like the story mode, don’t think it will be a walk in the park.

Battle Pass

By reaching higher levels in the new Athenyx’s Battlepass, you have the opportunity to earn more tokens. This applies to both the free and premium passes. However, players who have purchased the premium pass can earn double or even more tokens compared to those using the free pass. For instance, at level 16, those with the free pass can obtain 100 Flame Tokens, while premium pass holders can receive 200, resulting in a total of 300 tokens. Similarly, at level 18, free pass holders receive 120 Solar Tokens, whereas premium pass holders can acquire 250 tokens.

Robux

You have the option to purchase Elemental Tokens directly if you prefer not to grind the game to obtain Tokens. However, this means that you will need to buy three different sets of Tokens to acquire all the units since there are three types of Tokens available: Solar, Aqua, and Flame. Here’s the amount of Robux you’ll need to spend, and it costs 10 Tokens per Spin, or eight if you are VIP:

  • 60 Tokens – 99 Robux
  • 800 Tokens – 799 Robux
  • 2020 Tokens – 1699 Robux
