Blade Ball is having a New Year’s event, and players can get a new type of currency called Balloons. But you’ll want a lot of them, and fast, as this new currency is the only way, apart from with Robux, to get the new Time Hole.

Blade Ball Balloons and How to Get Them

Players can get Balloons in a few ways in the New Year Event in Blade Ball. You can purchase them with Robux if you want to go the quick, easy route, or you can for free just by playing the game, but it’ll take a while.

The star of this event is the New Year’s Raffle, where you can purchase one spin for 400 Balloons in the hopes of getting one of the three items needed to acquire Time Hole, the new ability that appeared in the v2.3 update. So, for 400 Balloons a spin, here are all the ways that we know to get Balloons in Blade Ball:

Daily Login Rewards

You can earn Balloons just by logging into Blade Ball every day for 13 days. The number of balloons you get per day steadily increases. So, for example, on Day 1, you earn 30 Balloons, but on Day 13, you can obtain 200.

Playtime Awards

For playing Blade Ball for a certain amount each day, you can claim Balloons that steadily increase the more time you play, up to a total of 275 Balloons. To get the maximum number of Balloons, you need to play for three hours, but at specific time increments, you can claim balloons if you need to log off, etc.

Battle Pass

By completing quests in the 2024 New Year’s Battle Pass, you can earn Balloons at certain levels regardless of whether you own the free or paid battle pass. Yet if you purchase S7: New Years Battle Pass you will get extra Balloons.

To earn EXP, you must complete quests; there are two types available: Daily and Seasonal. These quests reset daily, ranging from playing 15 Ranked mode matches ingto playing for 120 minutes. Complete these quests to earn EXP and climb the Battle Pass tiers to find more Balloons.

You can also get Balloons from the Super Coins Roll next to the leaderboard in the game lobby. Pay 1000 coins for a chance to win one of 14 prizes. You have a 5% chance of getting 30 balloons.

If you want to bypass the hassle and purchase Balloons directly, you can. Here are how many Balloons you can get for Robux:

  • 200 Balloons = 99 Robux
  • 1000 Balloons = 299 Robux
  • 3500 Balloons = 799 Robux
