One of the most anticipated features of Genshin Impact 2.6 update is the addition of The Chasm, an area located west of Liyue. The Chasm is divided into two maps – an aboveground map and an underground map, each of which comprises seven subareas. Like any other region in Genshin Impact, The Chasm is filled with puzzles and hidden trails that may lead to chests. Here’s how you can obtain one of the hidden luxurious chests in The Chasm through an unusual entrance.
Finding the Luxurious Chest in The Chasm
To get the hidden luxurious chest in Genshin Impact’s The Chasm, you must be at least Adventure Rank 28 to be qualified to unlock the area. Furthermore, it is crucial to open The Chasm underground mines map by completing the Archon Quest “Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches” and the World Quest “Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering.” After completing the required quests, you may start exploring the map and looking for the hidden luxurious chest in The Chasm.
Near the Teleport Waypoint in The Chasm’s Tiangong Gorge subarea, you will find a hidden luxurious chest behind a closed gate surrounded by crystal chunks. To obtain the luxurious chest, switch from the Teyvat Liyue map to The Chasm underground mines map and look for the secret entrance. In The Chasm underground mines, travel to the small pool situated at the uppermost part of the map. You may use the Teleport Waypoint found in The Chasm: Main Mining Area to go to the small pool.
From the Teleport Waypoint, you may choose to sprint or glide your way to the small pool at your convenience. Jump to the small pool from the bridge above it and look for a small entrance near a Treasure Hoarder camp that seems to be sucking air from the underground mines. Move towards the entrance and choose the Move up option that appears. Afterward, you will find your character transported inside the closed gate with a luxurious chest in the aboveground map of The Chasm.
Once you are inside the gate, you may open the luxurious chest and permanently open the gate. Opening the gate will also complete the “All We Need Is Some Firewood and Some Vinegar…” Achievement in the Wonders of the World category. You may use the small entrance to return to the underground mines of The Chasm again.
