Linen Guide

The first thing to know about Linen in New World is that it can’t really be found in the world. It has to be crafted, and to do that you will need Fibers and a Loom. The Loom can be found in large Settlements like the majority of other crafting stations.

To find Fiber, you will need to go out into the world and locate Hemp. This is a bush like plant that has bright green leaves and red flowers growing out of the top. Just get close to the plant and harvest it to get yourself some Fibers.

Hemp is found pretty far and wide, but only grows in the grassiers areas on the map. You will find a lot of Hemp in places like Monarch’s Bluffs, Windsward, Cutlass Keys, First Light, Brightwood, Weaver’s Fen, and Edengrove.

Once you’ve gathered up a nice supply of Fibers, you should head back to any settlement and locate a Loom. If you aren’t sure where one is located, you can open up your map and it will appears as a marker that looks like a Loom. Click on the icons to see what each of them represents if you’re confused.

When you’ve arrived at the Loom, just select Linen under Refined Resources > Cloth. It will take 4 Fibers to create one piece of Linen!

That’s everything we know about getting Linen in New World. You will find details on a lot more things about the game in the New World section of our website!
