In Minecraft, you will be building and creating a variety of different looks to your creations throughout the game. There is a lot to find in the game, and while some of it is simple, there’s quite a bit that is more difficult to locate or create. If you’re wondering how you can get Music Disc 5 in Minecraft, we’ll walk you through the process in this guide.

It is important to note that the Music Disc 5 can only currently be created in the Java Edition 1.19 development version, which means you will not find it in fully released versions of the game.

Crafting Music Disc 5

To get Music Disc 5 in Minecraft, you will need to obtain nine Disc Fragments. These can only be found rarely in Ancient City chests. Once you have all nine of the fragments, put them in a crafting table and you will have yourself Music Disc 5!

Like the new Recovery Compass, you are going to have to make your way into the Deep Dark biome and into an Ancient City. This is deep underground and contains the new Sculk materials and items that you will need to sneak around unless you want to meet the Warden! Once you find an Ancient City in the biome, move around the area carefully and try to find a chest. Any chest you find in this area will have a rare chance to have a Disc Fragment in them.

Each chest has a possibility of containing 1-3 fragments, so you will need to find quite a few chests to get all the ones you need unless you are very lucky. Once you have all nine, throw them into your crafting table and you can create the disc!

If you’re curious what exactly is on this disc, well you can listen to it in the following video. I will tell you that it is a bit on the creepy side, so don’t listen to it in a dark room!

That’s everything you need to know about crafting Music Disc 5 in Minecraft! If you want to learn more about the game, be sure to check out the Minecraft section of our website.
