New World is the newly released MMO by Amazon Games Studios that will take you into the exploration of a fictional land that was is based off of the Americas. You will be looking to harvest resources, craft items, get control of settlements, complete quests, explore, PVP, or fight off monsters. As you head into this dangerous world, you will need to know how to get yourself some Nightcrawler Bait for fishing. We’ll show you how in this guide.

Nightcrawler Bait Guide

To get Nightcrawler Bait in New World, you will need to head to the shores of lakes, rivers, and streams. Once you’ve arrived at your chosen water location, be on the lookout for rocks labeled Flint. If you pick these up during the day, you will have a chance to find yourself some Nightcrawler Bait!

One of the key points of this is that you can only do this during the daytime. If you do it at night, you will receive Glowworm Bait instead. This isn’t actually a bad thing, because while Nightcrawler Bait gives you a medium boost of catching better fish in salt water, Glowworm Bait gives you a larger boost! So, you might want to skip the Nightcrawlers and grab the Glowworms instead!

You can obviously use the Nightcrawler Bait to fish with, but it can also be a good resource to add to the auction house. While it isn’t hard to get, most players would rather just spend money to get it in bulk rather than be knee deep in the mud flipping over flint! So, consider using it as a way to make some money on the side.

That’s everything we know about getting Nightcrawler Bait in New World. You will find details on a lot more things about the game in the New World section of our website!
