Obsidian Mode Guide
Discord’s obsidian mode is a hidden feature that is available for the application that will change the color of the app. There’s currently the dark and light modes that most people are familiar with. Obsidian mode is a variant of the dark coloring. Dark is more of a grayish tone, where as obsidian is a full on black!
Android
To get obsidian mode on the Android Discord app, you will need to open up the User Settings by tapping on your avatar at the bottom right of the screen. Scroll down until you find the Appearance option. Tap on that and look for the Dark option under Theme. Tap repeatedly on the word Dark and you will eventually open up an option called, AMOLED optimized mode (experimental). Tap on the switch next to this option and you will now have enabled obsidian mode!
Apple iOS iPhone & PC Obsidian Mode
As of right now, you cannot unlock obsidian mode on iPhone or PC versions of the Discord application. It is unclear when this will be launched for either platform, so you will just need to wait until this experimental option is added to other versions of Discord.
