New World is the newly released MMO by Amazon Games Studios that will take you into the exploration of a fictional land that was is based off of the Americas. You will be looking to harvest resources, craft items, get control of settlements, complete quests, explore, PVP, or fight off monsters. As you head into this dangerous world, you will need to know how to get yourself some Repair Parts to help you repair your items. We’ll show you how in this guide.
Repair Parts Guide
To get Repair Parts in New World, you will need to salvage weapons and armor! Your character holds Repair Parts in a separate inventory, which you can view from the Inventory screen at the bottom of the menu. You can only hold 2,000 Repair Parts at a time. If you hit that cap, the resource will just vanish, so make sure to use it before you lose it!
Lower grade weapons and armor you salvage will give you smaller amounts of Repair Parts. If you’re in need of a lot of them, you will want to deconstruct higher level items, which will give you additional parts.
Repair Parts are a unique resourced used to repair items.

Repair Parts are used to craft Repair Kits. Each one of these Repair Kits can repair a certain tier of item. Here’s a list of all of the Repair Kits you can make:
- Basic Repair Kit (Tier 1)
- Standard Repair Kit (Tier 2)
- Advanced Repair Kit (Tier 3)
- Expert Repair Kit (Tier 4)
- Master Repair Kit (Tier 5)
These can be crafted at a Forge, which are found in Settlements. You will need Weaponsmithing skill to craft them. For example, the Standard Repair Kit requires 15 Weaponsmithing, Tier 2 Forge, and 40 Repair Parts. The higher the grade of Repair Kit you need, the more skill and Repair Parts you will need to craft it!
Once you have the correct Repair Kit, you can go into your inventory and drag it over to the item you want to repair. It will give you a prompt asking you if you’re sure you want to repair it.
That’s everything we know about getting Repair Parts in New World. You will find details on a lot more things about the game in the New World section of our website!
