Shiny Slugma
To get Shiny Slugma in Pokemon Go, you are going to have to wait for the release of the Mountains of Power event that will be taking place on Friday, January 7th, 2022 at 9am PT until Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at 7pm PT. This is the first time a shiny version of Slugma will be available, and Slugma will spawn at an increased rate in the wild for the duration of the event.
The Shiny version of Slugma appears quite silvery and has a molten metal vibe to it. If you can level it up and evolve your Shiny Slugma, you will end up with the Shiny Magcargo! Instead of the fiery red that this snail like Pokemon usually has, it will turn into hot pink with an orange shell.
If you miss out during the event on the Shiny Slugma, you don’t need to worry! The Johto Tour is coming to the game on February 26th, 2022 and will bring shiny versions to all of the Johto region Pokemon!
