Fishing rod skins can be obtained from the Moosewood Skin Merchant, a new NPC introduced in the latest Fischmas event in Fisch, buy purchasing Skin Crates. Here’s where to find them and how to get started:
- Head to Moosewood.
- Look for the Moosewood Skin Merchant, who is located at the base of the ramp connecting the docks to the merchant area.
The merchant offers three types of crates, each containing skins for different rods. Here’s the full breakdown of the crates and their costs:

Each crate gives you a chance to pull skins, and the rarity of skins varies between crates. The pricier the crate, the better the skins you can unlock. However, you must have unlocked the Desolate Deep and Ancient Isles to purchase the Desolate and Ancient Crates.
How to Apply Skins to Your Fishing Rod
