King Legacy Ethereal Sword Guide
The legendary Ethereal Sword can only be acquired during the Blood Moon event by defeating the formidable Red Eye Ape (Bushido Ape) on Shallow Island in King Legacy. This event takes place every three nights in the Third Sea, introducing several notable changes:
- Monsters on the Shallow Island become stronger.
- The damage caused by the Blood Moon Twins is increased by 5%.
- The Red Eye Ape, a skilled Bushido swordsman, spawns in the area.
Locating and Defeating the Red Eye Ape

To find and defeat the Red Eye Ape, head to the top of the area where the giant skeleton is located. The Ethereal Sword has a base drop chance of 0.1%, but certain passives from the Passive Tree can increase this probability. It’s rumored you have to use the Hell Sword to deal the final blow, but I’m unsure whether that is true or not.
Ethereal Sword Moveset
Once obtained, the Ethereal Sword unleashes basic attacks (M1s) with around 2,000 damage. Additionally, it features powerful abilities such as the Blaze Cleaver, dealing up to 12,300 damage without a burning effect, and the Inferno Blitz, which can cause approximately 15,000 base damage.
