Roblox Islands has released their Halloween update for October 2021! This of course brings a bunch of new stuff to the game that you will be interacting with. One of the new things you can get in the game is the Pumpkin Pet. If you want to get yourself a jack o’ lantern of your own that will follow you around, we’ll tell you how in this guide.
Pumpkin Pet
To get the Pumpkin Pet in Roblox Islands, you will need to open up a Cauldron. These are basically treasure chests that you get from fighting a boss. When you open one of these Cauldrons, you have a small chance at getting a Pumpkin Pet!
To get yourself some Cauldrons, you will need to fight the Pumpkin King boss, who is known as Percival. To find the Pumpkin King, you will need to go to the hub, where all of the spooky Halloween decorations are located. Follow the path to the left, go past the fishing docks, and look for a path up to the area with big mean looking jack o’ lanterns.
To summon Percival, you will need 500 Pumpkin Tokens. These can only be obtained on your island by catching bats with a Net. Bats will only spawn if it is night time on your island, so wait for it to get dark and then look for the small jack o’ lanterns that have bat wings on them. Swipe your Net on them and you will get 50+ Pumpkin Tokens for each one you catch.
You don’t have to summon Percival yourself, you can go to a public server and wait for someone else to do it. Loot is shared, all you need to do is get at least a hit or two in on the Pumpkin King and you will get credit and a Cauldron!
When you get a Cauldron, you will need to place it down on your island and open it up. You then have a random chance at some kind of loot from the pool, one of these items is the Pumpkin Pet! The pet is one of the rarest items that you can get from the Cauldron, so you might be opening a whole lot of these to get one. However, if you’re really lucky, you might get one in only a few opens!
That’s everything we know about getting the Pumpkin Pet in Roblox Islands. We have more coverage on the game in the Islands section of our website.
