How to make a Brilliant Blue Potion
To make the Brilliant Blue Potion, you will need to gather 1x Blue Potato, 1x Blue Shell, 1x Blue Starfish, 1x Blue Book, and 1x Blue Gem. You will first need to obtain the Blue Potato (we have an in-depth guide here), which isn’t too difficult as you’ll just have to pop by Ursula’s Lair and pick it up from the ground. If you found it previously and deposited in the mines, you’ll need to go back and retrieve it, as you need it in your inventory to get the other four ingredients needed for the Brilliant Blue Potion.
Next, you’ll head to Moana’s realm with the Blue Potato in your backpack. You’ll run down to the edge of the beach and see rocks emerging from the sea to a small island, you will want to walk towards this.
You will have to maneuver your away around what feels like an invisible wall or “maze” as some players have referred to it in order to access the island itself to pick up the Blue Shell.
The third item you will need to find is the Blue Starfish, which you’ll find in Ariel’s realm and you’ll find it just offshore on a small, sandy pathway between outcrops of rocks.
Like the Blue Shell, you’ll have to navigate your way around an invisible barrier that makes it so you have to do a lot of strafing and jostling of your character to maneuver to exactly where you want to go–there’s no straight path here.
The fourth item you will need to find is the Blue Book, which is located at the bottom of the Mystical Cave located in Dazzle Beach. You will go down the steps until you see a glowing, rectangular-shaped item hidden just behind a stone arch.
The last item you’ll acquire is found in the mines in Sunlit Plateau, just before the wells where you’ll need to place all five items to make the Brilliant Blue Potion. After you’ve entered, you want to watch for where there’s a mining track that deviates to your right and then follow it until you get to the end.
Once you get to the end, there will be a large, glowing gem-shaped object that you can interact with. You will want to pick up the Blue Gem and take it, along with the other four items, to the well found at the end of the mines.
Once you’ve arrived at the wells in the mine, marked by glowing aqua-blue ore emerging from the walls, you can interact with the area. This pops up a window that allows you to slot in five items. Now is the time to slow in the Blue Potato, Blue Shell, Blue Starfish, Blue Book, and Blue Gem.
After you’ve successfully slotted in all five items, you will receive the Brilliant Blue Potion that will show up to the left of your character with glowing gold lights around it, which you can then pick up.
Potions are just one type of item that can be crafted in the game.
