Core Keeper is an online co-op mining sandbox game that will have you building up a base, fighting evil monsters, crafting items, and farming to survive. While you are on your adventure, you will no doubt run into situations that will make you scratch your head. That is the nature of these more sandbox heavy games, so don’t feel too bad! If you’re wondering how exactly you can repair your items, we’ll show you how in this guide.
Repairing Guide
To repair in Core Keeper, you will need to craft a Salvage and Repair Station. This requires 5 Wood and Copper Bars to make. Once you have it, you can place it on the ground and interact with it. Place the item you want to repair into the window, and press the blue repair button. Doing so will consume Scrap Parts, which can be obtained by salvaging items in the same window!
Copper can be found pretty regularly all around the area where you will spawn. It’s one of the earliest resources you will find in the game. Craft yourself a Furnace, throw your ore in there, and then you’ll have some Copper Bars. Wood is also an early crafting ingredient that you should find in Dirt Biomes.
As mentioned, once you have your Salvage and Repair Station, you just need to place it on the ground to use it. You can either place a tool you want to repair inside of it, or you can add one that you would like to recycle. Recycling a tool will give you Scrap Parts, which are required for repairing. That means you will want to make sure you scrap your old tools that you are no longer using so that you can keep the new ones in top shape!
We also have guides for getting yourself some Tin or for learning how to fish! Knowledge of these skills will help you craft more and survive longer.
That’s everything you need to know about how to repair your tools and various items in the game! We’ve got more great content on the game that can be found in the Core Keeper section of our website.
