Submitting Captures Roblox Haunt 2024 Guide
Each day of The Haunt features a new theme for your captures. To participate, make sure you have the latest version of Roblox installed on every platform, as the submission feature requires a specific in-game menu button.
While playing games that are participating in The Haunt Roblox event, locate the bat-shaped button with a camera inside. This is the capture button. The bat-shaped camera button will not be there in games that are not participating.
Clicking this button takes a screenshot. You can take multiple screenshots to find the perfect shot, but none will be submitted until you hit the “Submit” button.
After taking your screenshot, a notification will appear at the top of the screen: “Submit capture to the Haunt. You may only submit one capture per day.” Click the “Submit” button in this notification.
Choose the appropriate category for your capture (the categories will likely align with the daily themes). Once you’ve selected a category, click “Submit” to enter your capture into the contest. The themes are the following and what time they unlock:
- Creatures – Unlocked
- Cute – 10am PST, October 25th
- Villians – 10am PST, October 26th
- Orange – 10am PST, October 27th
- Scary – 10am PST, October 28th
To submit your entry, you must first select a category and ensure that there is a checkmark in the “You may only submit one capture per day. Make this submission count!” box. Only then will the submit button turn white. If the button appears grey, it means that one or both of these steps have not been completed.
Can You Remove the Bat Button?
No, the bat-shaped capture button cannot be removed. It will remain on your screen until The Haunt event concludes.

- Customize Your Avatar: Dress up your avatar to match the daily theme for a better chance of winning.
- Choose the Right Game: Some games may offer better environments or props that align with the daily themes. Explore different participating games to find the perfect backdrop for your capture.
- Creative Composition: Think about the composition of your screenshot. Use angles, lighting, and in-game elements to create a visually appealing and thematically relevant capture.
