The Roblox 2024 Halloween event called The Haunt is now live, and you can earn free goodies by completing tasks, voting, and more. Here’s how to obtain all items in The Haunt Event in Roblox.

The Roblox The Haunt Event 2024 All Items Guide
The Haunt 2024 offers a variety of collectible items, each obtained through different means. This guide breaks down the acquisition methods, ensuring you don’t miss out on any exclusive rewards. From daily voting rewards and completing Hub Adventures to obtaining rare Smash Pumpkins. Not all items have been released or information on how to get them been made available, so this guide will be continually updated!
Daily Voting Rewards: The Golem of Decay and More
One of the primary ways to earn items is through daily voting. By voting five times each day, then each day another five, you can unlock items like the Golem of Decay. There are five items you can snag for free just by voting five times per day on the different categories:
- The Golem of Decay – Five Votes
- Dark Ravens – Ten Votes
- Void Vampire’s Hat – 15 Votes
- Vampire Kitty – 20 Votes
- Abomination’s Egg – 25 Votes
These items can also be cursed (upgraded) using Robux to change their appearance. While some cursed items look cool, others, like the cursed hat, might not be as appealing as their original versions. Daily voting is essential for collecting all the event items. Remember to come back each day to cast your votes and claim your rewards.
How to Vote in Roblox The Haunt 2024
In the main lobby of the mansion, the Headless Horsement is playing the piano. Around the outskirts of this room are five named iron maidens, Creatures, Cute, Villians, Orange, and Scary.
When the font is red above the Iron Maiden, it opens when you go near it. Press E to vote, and four pictures will appear on the screen. Select the photo that matches the category closely by clicking on it, and do this time.
Even though you can do this as many times as you want, you only need to do it five times to get that item. The other locked Iron Maidens are on a timer and won’t open until the following days/times:
- Creatures – Unlocked
- Cute – 10am PST, October 25th
- Villians – 10am PST, October 26th
- Orange – 10am PST, October 27th
- Scary – 10am PST, October 28th
The Haunt Pumpkins
Star Smash Pumpkin
The Star Smash Pumpkin is obtained from Star Creators (members of the Roblox Star Program). To get one, find a Star Creator in your lobby and have them shoot their pumpkin launcher, and you just need to pick up the pumpkin from the ground.
An easy way to find Star Creators is by looking at player profiles; Star Creators have a special symbol next to their name. If “Joins” are enabled on their profile, you can directly join their lobby.
Dev Smash Pumpkin
The Dev Smash Pumpkin is even rarer, obtained from Roblox developers. To increase your chances of encountering a developer, join the “Roblox Presents” group and look for developers currently playing The Haunt. Join their server and politely ask them for a Dev Smash Pumpkin.
Admin Smash Pumpkin
The Admin Smash Pumpkin, as the name suggests, is dropped by Roblox administrators. These are incredibly rare encounters, so consider yourself lucky if you manage to snag one!
The Haunt Submitting Captures
For submitting captures during The Haunt, being a winner or a runner-up in categories, you can get additional items/prizes that other people will not get! Here are what you can get:
- Orange Ghost Horns: Submit at least one capture during The Haunt event.
- Cursed Camera: Submit captures in three different categories throughout The Haunt event.
- Layered Halloween Necklace: Win a category contest with your submitted capture.
- Sinister Zombie Teddy Bear: Be a runner-up in a category contest.
The Haunt In-Hub Gear
Like voting, there are five gear items in the hub that you can collect, which are also locked behind specific times. These times correspond exactly to the voting schedule mentioned earlier. The five items are:
- Pure Light Lantern – Unlocked
- Golden Key Necklace – 10am PST, October 25th
- Death’s Dastardly Cape – 10am PST, October 26th
- Flaming Pumpkin Cart – 10am PST, October 27th
- Spectral Spectacles – 10am PST, October 28th
To obtain these items, you need to complete a quest or find them through specific tasks. These items require more effort to acquire than most offerings in these events, so I will create separate guides for each item. Here, I’ll briefly summarize how to get the item.
Pure Light Lantern
The Pure Light Lantern is obtained by grave digging. Exit to the doors leading to the Headless Horseman statue, and make a left to find glowing white shovels, along with graves you can dig up. Get digging to find the Pure Light Lantern; it’s random. You may get the item, but you may get jump scared!

The next item you can get is the Golden Key Necklace, which involves navigating a maze!
Golden Key Necklace
To get the Golden Key Necklace, you must complete the Maze which is located to the right of the Headless Horse Statue outside.

Death’s Dastardly Cape
To obtain Death’s Dastardly Cape, you must use the Golden Key to enter the painting or mirror in the Hall of Villains. Once inside, interact with one of the mirrors; it will reveal that the artifact you’re seeking is within another mirror. You will need to interact with various mirrors at random to locate Death’s Dastardly Cape. Each time you interact with a mirror, you’ll receive a hint similar to a hot-and-cold game, along with some jumpscares.

Flaming Pumpkin Cart
To obtain the Flaming Pumpkin Cart, you must head to the attic, pick up the Pumpkin Smasher bat, and get smashing pumpkins to get the item!
