How to Unlock Elements in Blade Ball

Upon loading into Element, the new game mode in Blade Ball, you are given a choice between Fire and Water. Unknowingly to the player, this locks you into the character/element for a while. This guide will go through all the steps needed to unlock the other elements.

Blade Ball – How to Change Characters

Changing your character or element in Blade Ball involves leveling up the element you initially choose in the Element game mode to level 50, whether it’s Fire or Water. After reaching level 50 with an element, you can unlock a new one, but the choice of the next element is predetermined. For instance, unlocking Water requires Fire to be at level 50. To switch characters, navigate to the Skins/Characters menu, select the character you’ve unlocked, and purchase it with coins to then change to that element.

To unlock all elements, follow this sequence for Fire:

Level Fire to 50 to unlock Water
Level Water to 50 to unlock Electric
Level Electric to 50 to unlock Ice
Level Ice to 50 to unlock Earth

This sequence above will change slightly if you have chosen Water as your first element:

Level Water to 50 to unlock Fire
Level Water to 50 to unlock Electric
Level Electric to 50 to unlock Ice
Level Ice to 50 to unlock Earth

Unlocking all characters/elements is a lengthy process. To acquire the Elemental Sword, specifically, you must max out Fire, Water, and Electric.

How to Level up Elements in Blade Ball

Leveling up elements in Blade Ball is straightforward: actively participate in the game. The activities, ranked from least to most EXP gain, are hitting opponents with the ball, eliminating opponents, and winning matches. Consistently engaging in these actions will gradually increase your elements to the required levels for unlocking new characters and elements.
