Players often wonder about the purpose or significance of upgrading weapons in Grimoires Era. Upgrading is a new feature in the game. It allows players to enhance their weapons and accessories, but how does it work, and what benefits does it offer?

If you’re after some codes, head to our codes page and see what you can get! Or do you want to know where to find All Quests in Grimoires Era and All Accessories in Grimoires Era?

Grimoires Era Upgrade Weapons Guide

To upgrade weapons and accessories in Grimoires Era, all you need is Yen and to speak to the Blacksmith in his shop near spawn. No special items or materials are required at this time. Upgrading my Mace cost 5,000 Yen, with a 50% chance of failure, but failure does not mean the weapon breaks. It just means you have to spend money to try again.

This is the cost for every weapon in the game. After you’ve upgraded it a star will appear under it, and the subsequent cost is 10,000 Ten and a 25% of failure. Upgrades do make your sword stronger, but by how much, I do not know.

Failure is a common theme in Grimoires Era. You might fail in other aspects like flying and the Mana Sense mini-games. Failing means you have to pay again. The chance of failure is something players will encounter frequently.

Where To Find the Blacksmith

The Blacksmith is easy to find. After spawning, move forward and look to the right. You will see a building highlighted by a purple square. This building is the Blacksmith’s shop. The location is tough to miss.
