Does Endless Dungeon support cross-platform play?

Endless Dungeon does have crossplay support. This feature is not mentioned on the Steam page of the game, so players will have to team up with friends who are playing on the same platform. The servers for the games are different, so it would take a lot of effort to bring crossplay to the game.

Those who want to play with friends on different gaming platforms will be disappointed by this limitation. Many games don’t offer the ability to crossplay, even though it is sometimes seen as an industry standard at this point. This is an indie game, and so it doesn’t have a lot of hands working on it, so some thing need to be left behind, like crossplay.

Will Endless Dungeon get Crossplay?

Games not having crossplay at launch doesn’t mean that they will never get them. When asked on the Steam Forum, the developer responded,

for the moment, there won’t be a crossplay between different consoles (you can do pc-egs, ps4-ps5, xbos series). I prefer not to promise if in the future we will be able to implement it or not.

In layman’s terms, it isn’t here today but there is no guarantee that it will stay that way. So if you want crossplay, you’ll need to really push the developer to implement it. This includes tweets, suggestions, and e-mails asking for it to be added. If there are not a lot of player requests then the developer has no reason to really implement it into the game.
