League of Legends’ Renata might be featured in Arcane Season 2

League of Legend's newest champion, Renata, may be hinted at joining the cast of Arcane in it's upcoming second season.
Renata Arcane Season Two

League of Legends just revealed their new champion, Renata. While the new champion has a lot of players excited for her release in the upcoming patch cycle, there’s a few hints that suggest that we might be seeing Renata in more than just the botlane.

Renata’s Hinted Involvement In Arcane Season Two

Arcane took the world by storm when it first released on Netflix last fall, getting amazing amounts of views in a very short time. The show is rated as one of the best animated shows of all time on IMDB, and has already been renewed for a second season set to release as soon as 2023.

While Renata is already a smash hit on the rift, few people have noticed the connections suggesting that Renata might be making an appearance in Arcane’s second season. She has interactions with a lot of characters from Piltover and Zaun, but the Chembaron has one that’s particularly interesting.

Renata Viktor Voiceline

Her voice line towards Viktor, who played a prominent role in Arcane season 1, suggests that she is directly involved in his development from what we saw to who he becomes in League of Legends. “You forget whose money made you what you are, Viktor” implies that she funded Viktor’s transformation into the machine herald, which would definitely be covered in Season 2 of Arcane when the character makes his return.

At the end of season 1, Viktor tells Jayce to destroy the Hexcore, implying that he won’t be around much longer and has given up his pursuit of it’s body modifying power. However, the ending of Arcane promised to dramatically shake of the lives of everyone involved, and we’ll likely see Viktor continuing his Hexcore research to save his own life.

That’s everything we know about Renata’s possible involvement in season 2 of Arcane! Be sure to check out our other League of Legends news to see what else is happening on the rift.
