Lies Of P Circus

Lies of P is a game that has confused many players with its unique mechanics and mysterious messages. Two of the most puzzling messages that players come across in the game are “Your springs are moving” and “The Ergo is whispering.” But what exactly do these mean?

Well, these messages are related to the Humanity system in Lies of P, which is a hidden stat akin to morality in a way. In this guide, we’ll explain everything you need to know about these messages in Lies of P.

What Do ‘Your Springs are Moving’ and ‘The Ergo is Whispering’ Mean in Lies of P?

The Humanity system is a core mechanic in Lies of P. It’s a system that tracks the player’s actions and decisions throughout the game, and because of this system, it may change the ending that you get. Depending on the choices made, players might encounter messages like “Your springs are moving” and “The Ergo is whispering.” Essentially, these messages are telling you if you’re sliding more into Humanity or deeper into being a Puppet.

These options appear after making an important choice regarding telling the truth or lying, such as the Alidoro Choice. Or even as simple as listening to a record back at Hotel Krat. After listening to the entire thing, a message will appear. You can also get these messages by using the pray emote near a statue of a saint.

However, no one, myself included, knows exactly, or even if it does alter anything apart from the ending you get. There’s no evidence to show you take or deal less damage to puppets or to humans if you’re heavily sided with Humanity or Puppet. From my experience, Soulslikes, such as Lies of P, love having hidden mechanics woven so subtly into the game that only those who deep dive will find them. We’ll have to wait and see if the community discovers anything!
