Minecraft has unveiled its 2023 April Fools’ Joke, the Vote Update, which adds a new voting system to the game. This snapshot introduces more than 100 different rules for players to vote on, providing them with an opportunity to significantly change their gameplay.
Some of the unique voting options include creating a portal to a moon dimension with moon cows and lunar bases, allowing players to become King Midas or the President, activating French mode, adding copper sinks, entering dream mode, and making glow squids genuinely glow, among many other possibilities.
The Vote Update introduces a way to change everything in the game, offering realistic voting action. Players no longer need to wait for the next Minecraft Live event to express their opinions on other people’s choices. Snapshots are available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To install the snapshot, open up the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab.
Snapshots can corrupt your world, so please back up your world and/or run the snapshot in a different folder from your main worlds.
