PC games normally unlock at this time, but we’ll keep an eye out if any official information gets released. What is Mortal Kombat 1?

Mortal Kombat 1, also known as simply “Mortal Kombat,” is a fighting video game that was released in 1992. It was developed by Midway Games and created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The game features a diverse roster of characters with unique fighting styles and special moves. Mortal Kombat is known for its brutal and gory gameplay, as well as its controversial fatalities, which are finishing moves that allow players to defeat their opponents in gruesome ways. The game has since spawned a successful franchise with numerous sequels and spin-offs.

How to play Mortal Kombat 1 Early

To play Mortal Kombat 1 before its official release, players need to pre-order the premium edition of the Mortal Kombat 1. This will allow them to start playing on September 14, five days before the official release date of September 19. The difference in price between the premium edition and the standard edition is $40.

What Comes with the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition?

The premium edition of Mortal Kombat 1 includes:

  • Five days of early access
  • Kombat Pack 1, adding Omni-Man, Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda as playable fighters
  • Early access to these characters one week before everyone else
  • Five new Kameo Fighters (Tremor, Mavado, Johnny Cage, Ferra, Khameleon)
  • A special Jean-Claude Van Damme Skin for Johnny Cage
  • 1,250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency)
  • A playable Shang Tsung character for those who pre-order
