Nacon has revealed that their flagship event "Bigben Week" will take place later this month.

Nacon has officially announced that their sixth Bigben Week event, featuring exclusive reveals and other updates, will run between May 22nd and May 25th, 2023. Nacon is best known for their work on the WRC racing series, Steelrising, and Blood Bowl 3. Here’s the big event announcement from Nacon’s official Twitter feed:

The new promo accompanying today’s announcement showcases The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and RoboCop: Rogue City.

However, the former is actually due to release on May 25th, and the game has already revealed a surprising amount of footage. Just a couple of weeks ago, Nacon showed off new RTX footage, and an extended gameplay showcase revealed roughly twenty full minutes. The devs seem determined to win over skeptics, but at this point, that seems unlikely.

So, fans of the publisher should really be looking forward to more details on RoboCop: Rogue City, which doesn’t release until later this year in September. Ideally, Bigben Week will reveal a new trailer and concrete launch date.

RoboCop remains a ripe IP, thanks to the original’s inventive sci-fi designs, rugged action, and clever commentary. Until Nacon’s new title, players can try out the indie roguelike Mega City Police, which is directly inspired by the IP and was recently championed by Ravenage Games.

For broader event context, you can consider last year’s Bigben Week, which revealed Steelrising, Greedfall II: The Dying World, and WRC Generations. Each of these titles received a new teaser. Also, fans got an update about Test Drive Unlimited, whose release was ultimately delayed to this year. It’d be nice if there wasn’t another delay this time around, since that series has been very inactive.
