Naraka: Bladepoint has reportedly had millions of players in the title since the game was released two years ago, with developer 24 Entertainment consistently updating the game. Ahead of the release of free-to-play on July 13, Naraka: Bladepoint has announced unique cosmetics in support of YouTuber Maximillian Dood coming the same day.
The fighting game YouTuber shared a tweet late last night announcing the cosmetics, which seem to be the next best thing to adding the actual character in the game. There will be a legendary outfit called “Fighting Spirit Max” which has a nice red suit and an accessory for the character’s glasses. There will also be two new cosmetics featuring the channel’s mascot, the Pomeranian, Benny.
Seemingly the first time that Dood noticed and tried out Naraka: Bladepoint was when it was added to Xbox Game Pass last year following the platform’s showcase. He seemed intrigued by the beautiful style and the promise of a new campaign, with NetEase and 24 Entertainment taking notice. Now, in an ironic twist, the developer is adding his cosmetics to the game to celebrate Naraka: Bladepoint free-to-play and PlayStation release.
Naraka: Bladepoint is a PVE and PVP battle royale with inspiration from Eastern mythology and history. The title promotes freedom of movement and innovative multiplayer combat, offering a unique melee battle royale experience. The addition to the PlayStation and free-to-play change is sure to bring a whole new audience into the game.
Naraka: Bladepoint is now becoming free-to-play at the same time the Maximillian Dood and Benny next Thursday, July 13.
