The Companion features a magical and beautiful world where visions of past, present, and future, in a form of Wisp, will guide players. As they explore this world, players will collect Essence and find Artifacts that aid in building a link to the corporeal realm. There are a total of seven majestic landscapes in The Companion where players will witness the emotional story of a family as they tackle the challenges ahead of them.

Here are the key features of The Companion, as revealed on its Steam page:

  • A journey filled with mystery, intrigue, and discovery,
  • A touching and emotional story about Love and Family.
  • Featuring a beautiful soundtrack
  • Capture Essence
  • Find Artifacts
  • Experience Visions
  • Runic Stones summon other spiritual creatures to your side
  • Glimpse fleeting moments

The Companion provides a cinematic gaming experience thanks to its elegant world design as well as its intriguing story. Adding to the magical experience is the beautiful soundtrack playing in the background while players follow a Wisp through all of the game’s stunning levels. Its well-executed dynamic directed camera feature also allows it to provide a more immersive experience.

The Companion targets casual gamers, so it is not recommended for those who don’t enjoy slow-paced walking simulators with nonlinear storylines. Regardless, exploring its magical world is something worth trying out.
