The open-world 3D platformer game by developer Secret Item Games and publisher Mindscape, Paperman: Adventure Delivered, is set to be released on several gaming platforms this year.
Although there is still no exact release date for Paperman: Adventure Delivered, publisher Mindscape has announced that it is expected to be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam by September 2023. In Paperman: Adventure Delivered, players will control one of the four unique mail carriers and swap between them to unlock their unique abilities. Paperman, the titular hero, can throw letters as projectiles and teleport at short distances. Express is the fastest character and takes care of the most urgent deliveries. Scrolly glides smoothly through the air with his trusty feather and can reach the highest platforms. Finally, the strongest box of the team, Carl, delivers the heaviest parcels with great care.
Players are tasked in Paperman: Adventure Delivered to find missing letters across 3 completely different worlds. The first destination will take players to a tropical island full of statues, called the Manyfaced Island. Afterward, the mail carriers will journey to the desert and explore pyramids in the Valley of Sand. The third world, Winding Peak, is where players will encounter many parkour platforms which will require the right character and skillset to reach the destination.
Paperman: Adventure Delivered features a vibrant environment packed with challenging puzzles. It includes gameplay elements that are reminiscent of the classic Super Mario 64, but it differs in terms of its multiplayer feature, where reaching a certain destination is dependent on which character and ability are used.
