4J Studios, the renowned developer behind Minecraft Console Edition, has officially announced the upcoming release of their multiplayer arcade game, Manic Mechanics, for the Nintendo Switch on July 13th.

In Manic Mechanics, up to four players will serve the car-obsessed residents of Octane Isle. Players will work their way through Octane Isle’s five neighborhoods, challenging the Master Mechanics that rule each part of town. Players will be tasked with repairing as many vehicles as possible, including cars, trucks, choppers, tractors, mini-subs, and even UFOs, all while racing against time.

During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, a captivating announcement trailer was unveiled, offering a glimpse into the gameplay mechanics, garage environments, challenges, and the characters of Manic Mechanics.

Chairman Chris van der Kuyl expressed his enthusiasm for Manic Mechanics, 4J Studios’ first self-published title, stating, “When we decided to take 4J to the next level by publishing our own games, our aim was to create ‘games for everyone’ – and I don’t think we could have found a better way to start that journey than with Manic Mechanics. Manic Mechanics is great fun in single-player mode, but it really comes to life when you bring your friends and family into the chaos. It’s been a huge hit in the studio for the past few months and I’m excited that we’re now finally able to let other people join in the fun. We can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to this fantastic start to 4J’s next chapter.”

Manic Mechanics promises to deliver a challenging and memorable party game experience for players. Teamwork is certainly at the core of this game, requiring precise coordination and individual skill for success.

Manic Mechanics is now open for pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop, priced at $24.99.
