Helioptile Release Date
Helioptile will make its appearance in Pokemon Go on January 19th, 2022 at 10am Local Time. That means wherever you live in the world, you should start to find this Pokemon in the wild at 10am on January 19th. Due to this way of launching, you will find that some areas of the world will get access to it sooner than others!
You will be able to catch Helioptile in the Wild or as an encounter after completing Field Research tasks.

Is Helioptile available as a Shiny?
Unfortunately, you can’t get Helioptile as Shiny yet in Pokemon Go. It’s unclear when this will be added, but as of right now it’s not possible to get it in the game.
How do I evolve Helioptile into Heliolisk?
You will need to have 50 Helioptile Candy and a Sun Stone to evolve your Helioptile to a Heliolisk in Pokemon Go. You can get Sun Stones randomly by spinning PokeStops, seventh day spin streak, and as a reward from Research Tasks. Candy can be farmed by catching Helioptile, transferring them, and hatching them out of eggs.
