Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are Nintendo’s next entry into the incredibly popular Pokemon franchise. These are “remakes” of the original Diamond and Pearl games, which is something that Pokemon does periodically in the revisiting of previous games. While they may be similar, there will be a fair amount off differences, including that the games will be released for the Nintendo Switch. One of these new additions will be Ramanas Park, which is an area you will be able to encounter and catch legendary Pokemon from previous games!
You can find out when these games are going to released by following our Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Countdown!
Ramanas Park Guide
Ramanas Park is an area that you will be able to encounter Legendary Pokemon in both versions of the game. However, this is end game content, so you will have to enter into the Hall of Fame, and you will need to locate the slates that correspond with each of the Pokemon.
The game will require an update once you receive the game to get this area for the game. That means you’ll need an internet connection of some sort to download it. The good news, however, is that you do not need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to get it!
Information on how you get the slates, which look like Gameboy Cartridges, are unavailable at this time. They are known as Genome Slates, which will need to be used in the corresponding Genome Room.
You will find some of the details behind this new area, in the following video:
Ramanas Park Legendaries
You will be able to encounter both Mewtwo and Rayquaza in both versions of the game. However, there are Legendary Pokemon that will be exclusive to each version of the game. This could determine which of these games you end up playing, if you plan on playing late game content.
