Developer NC Studio’s Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward is set for a console release later this month.
Project Nightmares is a survival horror game that features a procedural structure, generating new horrors every time it is played. It was first released on PC via Steam back in September 2021. Recently, horror games publisher Feardemic has announced to release Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward on consoles, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, on April 27th.
The events of Project Nightmares are set in 1982 and the haunting story begins with a group of scientists who have devoted their lives to studying the paranormal. The scientists devised a new means of examination using a device of their design, in which they are able to induce telepathically-gifted patients into a dream state and connect their minds to a cursed or malignant object. Through this method, they are able to investigate the history of the cursed object and put a stop to the evil they embody.
In Project Nightmares, players will take on the role of a telepathically-gifted patient who serves as a test subject for the nightmare-inducing machine. Case 36: Henrietta Kedward is the first installment of Project Nightmares and focuses on the investigation of Henrietta Kedward. A toy with a dark past will serve as a link to this malicious old woman. Using this connection, players will be immersed in a nightmare set during Henrietta’s lifetime, surrounded by mystery and horror.
Project Nightmares is a lengthy and challenging horror game that requires attention and logic to progress. Fans of the horror genre will find it to be a nightmare packed with challenging puzzles and jumpscares. Even after several runs through the game, the procedurally generated elements will continue to surprise and challenge players. Furthermore, it features an incredible sound design that contributes significantly to the overall immersive horror experience.
