Roblox recently had to remove and private a bunch of sound files for the platform due to a suit that was filed against the company in June 2021. The eventually reached a settlement in late 2021, which has brought us to the March 22nd, 2022 privatization of any existing audio that is longer than 6 seconds. This included a lot of favorites, including Raining Tacos.

While Raining Tacos was deleted from the platform, it appears the creator of the music didn’t want that to happen. We don’t know much about what went on behind the scenes, but we do know via a tweet that Parry Gripp worked with Roblox to get the song back onto the platform.

It appears that they were successful, because you can now find the song via its Roblox Library Page! It still even has its original created date of January 16th, 2014. If you want to use it in a jukebox or game, the id for Raining Tacos is 142376088.

The meme-like song was created by Parry Gripp and posted to YouTube back in August of 2012. It has racked up over 52 million views, and is likely to keep climbing in the future. While it was a bummer that it had to be removed in the first place, it’s good to see that fans of this particular song will get to have it available to them on Roblox.
