Roller Champions just released a couple days ago on May 25th, and some members of Ubisoft News are streaming again with some ranked matches, chatting with the fanbase on Twitch.

Here’s the official tweet, announcing some Lootball drops and linking to the livestream:

Ubisoft News had a truly rough launch day, as servers for Roller Champions had serious issues preventing anyone from playing the game at all.

It seems those problems still haven’t been resolved, and a lot of viewers ended up complaining to the Ubisoft News crew on launch.

They ultimately spent a lot of time apologizing. But they also had to explain that the right team is working on it, and that the hosts don’t actually have that responsibility. So, new viewers should go in with the understanding that this livestream won’t be the solution to your server errors.

Lootball Madness details

Roller Champions recently announced Lootball Madness too. Here’s the official tweet:

It’s a Skatepark activity, where players will have an hour each day through this Sunday to grab the ball and control it until the timer runs out to be rewarded with a lootball.

During these hours, opportunities will only come up every ten minutes. While this would be a great way to stir up some fun urgency, it also means that a lot of players will probably struggle to get any of it. Most are still dealing with long queues and the like.

Hopefully, the support team will be able to resolve some of these issues quickly enough to salvage the first week of launch. Otherwise, Roller Champions is going to have to climb a big mountain to win back interested players. Even free-to-play games are met with fair expectations from the fans.

This game still has a lot of potential, so be sure to keep an eye on @UbisoftSupport, where all concerns about server problems are being directed. You can watch the official Ubisoft livestream on Twitch here.
