How to the Voidrender Sword (Cid V3) in Second Piece

To get the Voidrender (Cid V3) in Second Piece, you need to join the Shadow Garden faction, rank up to [Numbers], complete a questline, farm a boss for rare drops, and finally, craft the sword at the Blacksmith. It’s a lengthy process, but the powerful moveset makes it worthwhile.

How to Join the Shadow Garden Faction

To join the Shadow Garden faction in Second Piece, you must do the following:

1. Go to Ape Realm: Find the island called Ape Realm.
2. Find the Shadow Garden NPC: Locate the Shadow Garden NPC, who has the ??? name, but looks like Cid on Ape Realm. This NPC allows you to join the faction and accept quests.

Ranking Up in the Shadow Garden

Once you’ve joined the Shadow Garden, you need to increase your rank:

• Earn Reputation: Accept and complete quests from the Shadow Garden NPC. These quests will reward you with Reputation Points.
• Reach [Numbers] Rank: Keep completing quests and earning Reputation until you reach the [Numbers] rank. This is the rank required to obtain the Voidrender Craft Recipe.

The Shadow Garden Questline

The path to the rank needed for Cid V3 involves a specific questline:

• Quest 1: Kill Mobs (~100): Defeat approximately 100 regular enemies (mobs). The exact type of mob doesn’t seem to matter.
• Quest 2: Kill 5 Niflheim Bosses: Defeat five of the Niflheim bosses.
• Quest 3: Find Alpha and Deliver a Letter:
  1. Find Alpha at Crystal Cove: Locate the NPC named Alpha at Crystal Cove.
  2. Talk to Alpha: She will give you a letter.
  3. Return to Shadow: Deliver the letter back to the Shadow NPC on Ape Realm.
  4. Go to the Arena: Head to the Arena.
  5. Defeat John Smith: You’ll find an NPC named John Smith waiting for you at the Arena. Defeat him.
  6. Return to Cid: He will now give you the [Voidrender] Craft Recipe.
• Note: As a member of the Shadow Garden, Cid will help you when fighting Elizabeth.

Gathering Voidrender Crafting Materials

Once you’ve reached the [Numbers] rank and have the [Voidrender] Craft Recipe, you’ll need to gather the following materials for crafting:

• 1 [Voidrender] Craft Recipe: Obtained by reaching [Numbers] rank in the Shadow Garden.
• 1 Elisabeth’s Letter: A rare drop (10% chance) from the Elisabeth [Serious] boss.
• 5 Queen’s Blood: A more common drop (75% chance) from the Elisabeth [Serious] boss.
• 1 Blood Gem: A rare drop (20% chance) from the Elisabeth [Serious] boss.
• 5 Diamonds
• 15 Gold: From mining
• 25 Iron: From mining
• 30 Coal: From mining

How to find and Defeat Elisabeth [Serious]

Elisabeth [Serious] is a key boss for obtaining several of the crafting materials:

• Location: Spawns on Forgotten Isle.
• Spawn Condition: Only appears at night during a Blood Moon event.
• Despawn: Despawns after about 10 minutes when the Blood Moon ends and the sun rises.
• Elisabeth [Serious] Stats: *Level 1250
  • 100m Health
  • Immune to True Damage
• Cid’s Assistance: If you are a member of the Shadow Garden, Cid will appear during the fight and assist you after Elisabeth loses 10% of her health. Cid deals very high damage.
• Server Requirement – There must be at least three Numbers in a server for the boss to spawn.

Crafting the Voidrender

Once you’ve gathered all the required materials (including the recipe), head to the Blacksmith NPC. The Blacksmith can combine the materials and craft the Voidrender sword for you.

• [M1]: Basic attacks. 35274 damage, 35290 on the final hit.
• [Z] – Nuclear Burst: 150008 x 2 [300,016] damage.
  • 5-second cooldown.

• [X] – Voidbound Tether: 0 + 187510 damage.
  • 6-second cooldown.
  • 1-second startup (stationary).
• [C] – Stygian Fission: 65630 x 10 [656,300] damage.

  • 1.5-second startup, 1.5-second duration (stationary).
