For players eager to take on first-person horrors, the release of Shame Legacy a month ago likely came as a welcome addition to the genre. Now, publisher Destructive Creation has announced that Shame Legacy on PlayStation 5 is getting its own Cult Edition in a special case with a “metallic-effect” postcard, available now across European gaming stores.
This new version of the game is meant for collectors who enjoyed the game’s launch last month and want to have something physical. The design, manufacturing, and distribution of the Cult Edition of Shame Legacy will be handled by Meridiem Games. It’s unclear if the edition will be available for purchase in any North American countries soon, but success in Europe could help achieve this.

As players journey through a twisted occult village in Shame Legacy‘s gameplay, they’ll come to understand the cause of the mayhem and how their family history ties into what’s going on. It will soon become apparent that there is a hunt going on and the player has quickly become the prey.
Meridiem Games has been a decent publisher for indies recently, helping titles like My Time at Sandrock and Death or Treat get physical releases. Not only does this help build hype and get further reach for games, but it will also help to preserve indie games should anything ever happen to the digital storefronts that it’s hosted on.
With the Shame Legacy Cult Edition becoming available today, some fans in larger cities may be able to find a current copy in their local game shop.
