Clash Royale is set to launch its highly-anticipated event, the Slash Royale, on June 5. This event is notable for introducing a significant reduction in Gold upgrade costs, giving players the perfect opportunity to expand and upgrade their collections.
As part of the Slash Royale event, Clash Royale is reintroducing the Great Gold Rush, allowing players to accrue up to 200,000 Gold, the accumulation of which is dictated by their respective Arena levels. However, it should be noted that this Gold reduction benefit does not extend to Star Points costs.
In an exercise of transparency around the Slash Royale event, the game developers have detailed what will occur with players’ Magic Items following the game update. If a player has managed to level all their Cards of a specific rarity to Level 14, they can convert their corresponding Magic Items into Elite Wild Cards. Conversely, if a player has any cards of a specific rarity that have not reached Level 14, they will be unable to perform this conversion. In this scenario, those Magic Items will need to be upgraded first.
As such, for optimal progression, players are advised not to retain their Magic Items during the Slash Royale event unless they have a specific strategy in mind. The event has been designed to reward players who have an extensive collection of Level 14 cards, as this allows them to obtain more Elite Wild Cards.
Adding to the excitement, Clash Royale is also launching the Raffle Royale as part of the Slash Royale event, running from June 5 to June 16. This raffle offers players the opportunity to win a grand prize of 5 million Gold. The more tickets a player gathers, the higher their chances of winning a prize. Furthermore, each ticket collected awards the player with an additional 1,000 Gold.
Raffle Royale tickets will be made available in the in-game Shop every day, excluding Fridays, from the event’s start date. Each Monday during the Raffle Royale, players will have the chance to secure two tickets.
The Raffle Royale consists of two parts: the Mini Raffle Royale and the Mega Raffle Royale. The Mini Raffle Royale will utilize tickets collected from June 5 to June 8, with the prize draw taking place on June 9 and prizes being distributed to players on June 12. The Mega Raffle Royale, on the other hand, will incorporate tickets gathered from June 5 to June 15, with the prize draw occurring on June 16 and prizes being sent out on June 19.
In total, more than 5.5 billion Gold will be disseminated through the Raffle Royale, presenting an opportunity for players to boost their Gold reserves significantly.
