To gain great power requires great sacrifice. That applies to obtaining a Heavenly Restriction. To get this power, one must be reborn, which means a total wipe of your character. Here’s how to get a Heavenly Restriction if you’re willing to lose everything for power in Sorcery.

How to Obtain Heavenly Restriction in Roblox Sorcery

To get a Heavenly Restriction, you must first meet a few requirements, along with acquiring some necessary items. Here’s a quick rundown of what you need:

  • Become a Grade 2 Sorcerer or reach level 60
  • Obtain a True War Remnant item
  • Obtain a Void Key and enter the Void
  • Use the True War Remnant to complete the Heavenly Restriction process

What is a Heavenly Restriction?

A Heavenly Restriction essentially means resetting your character. Your character slot will be wiped, and you’ll have to create a new character. However, you’ll gain access to a new skill tree that doesn’t use Curse Energy but instead has Physical Prowess and new skills.

Obtaining a Heavenly Restriction means you’ll no longer be able to channel or use Curse Energy, including Domain Expansions or any abilities requiring Curse Energy, except for Dashing.

How to Get a True War Remnant

To obtain a True War Remnant, you need to complete missions, as it is a random reward. This means you’ll have to keep playing missions, leveling up your character, and hoping to get lucky with a True War Remnant (TWR) drop. If you’re unlucky, you might be able to find a player willing to trade it for something else. However, since TWRs are rare, be prepared to offer a lot.

How to Get a Void Key and Enter the Void

The Void is where you need to go to use the True War Remnant, located in the Open World of Sorcery. Head to the Open World marker from the Hideout, and you’ll be teleported to the Train Station. Get on the train that appears, and you’ll spawn in the Open World City. From where you spawn, head left until you come across a gate; this is the Void Gate. However, the Void Gate is locked, and you must first obtain a Void Key to unlock it. Below is a screenshot of the Void Gate unlocked.

To get a Void Key, you must complete missions and hope to receive one as a random reward. By the time you reach level 60 or become a Grade 2 Sorcerer, you should hopefully have at least one in your inventory or bank. Once you have the Void Key, return to the Void Gate to unlock it and enter the Void.

There is another way to enter the Void, but you’ll need to be prepared for PvP. When a Void Key is used, the gate doesn’t close immediately, so if you’re quick, you can enter without using a key. However, since the Open World is a PvP area, other players might have the same idea, making it a risky move. Once open, head through the tunnel and down the elevator to get the Void.

I actually managed to do this, as the Void Gate opens for a long time. However, you get kicked out if you don’t go down the elevator quickly enough.

How to Obtain a Heavenly Restriction

Once inside the Void, you can complete the final step to obtain a Heavenly Restriction. Simply place the True War Remnant in your inventory, equip it, and press LMB to use it.

Before doing this, read the next section for advice on how to keep all of your items. Remember, obtaining a Heavenly Restriction will wipe your character slot, including all your items, weapons, accessories, and consumables.

A notification will appear once used, confirming you want to use the True War Remnant and warning that it will wipe your character slot. After confirming, your next step is to die, which happens automatically as using the TWR drains your health until you die.

Once dead, the character creation screen will appear, allowing you to create a new character with a Heavenly Restriction.

How to Keep All of Your Items After the Heavenly Restriction Wipe

While your character cannot keep any items after the wipe, there are ways to retain everything. You can either hand over all your items to a friend to store until your new character is ready, or create an Alt Account. This does mean paying for access to Sorcery on the Alt Account, but it’s a foolproof way to ensure your items are safe.

Heavenly Restriction Skill Tree – All Physical Prowess Moves

You have now been reborn as a Heavenly Restriction user, meaning you can no longer use any Curse Energy, including Cursed Techniques or Domains. Instead, you gain access to a new skill tree focused on Physical Prowess.

Instead of placing stats into four categories—Cursed Energy, Agility, Strength, and Vitality—Physical Prowess only requires you to focus on two: Strength and Agility. Here are the stat requirements to learn the four new moves of Physical Prowess:

Skill NameSkill RequirementsSkill Description
Flash Cut25 Strength
25 Agility
Roll forward with great speed while performing dozens of cuts to anyone who stands in the way.
Stone Barrage50 Strength
50 Agility
Stomp the ground, sending up small stones from the ground. With your superhuman strength you flick the stones like speeding bullets to your left and right, rapidly damaging the targets in it’s trajectory.
Spiral Smash50 Strength
75 Agility
Appear behind a singular target while doing a front flip and delivering a heavy kick to their head, slamming them into the ground.
Shadow Step100 AgilityFeint a stab, only to vanish and appear behind your target, stabbing them through the back.
