Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring some new additions to the game, which means there’s a lot of new pocket monsters out there that can be collected and battled against. When battling against certain Pokemon, it’s unclear what type they are initially, so learning which moves you should use is very important! If you want to know what Tatsugiri’s weaknesses are then we’ll walk you through them in this guide.

If you want to see all of the weaknesses and strengths of any Pokemon, be sure to head over to our Pokemon Type Chart guide!

Tatsugiri Weaknesses

Tatsugiri is a Dragon and Water-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Dragon and Fairy-type moves. It has no immunities, but is resistant to Steel, Fire, and Water-type attacks.

While any Dragon and Fairy-type moves will be sufficient to finish off Tatsugiri, you will want to focus on Physical Attack moves if you have them. Tatsugiri has much higher Special Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Physical Attacks.

As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Tatsugiri, you will want to make sure to leave Fire, Ground, Rock, and Dragon out as they are weak to the majority of its moves. Tatsugiri might also be running Dark-type attacks, so be careful when running Ghost or Psychic Pokemon.

That’s everything you need to know about the moves that will be best used against Tatsugiri. For more detailed guides, be sure to head to the Pokemon section of our website.
