Tentacool Weaknesses
Tentacool is a Water, Poison-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Electric, Grass, Ground, Psychic-type moves. It is immune to nothing, but it is resistant to Fighting, Poison, Bug, Steel, Fire, Water, Ice, Fairy attacks.
While any Electric, Grass, Ground, Psychic-type moves will be sufficient to finish of Tentacool, you will want to focus on Physical Attacks moves if you have them. Tentacool has higher Special Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Physical Attacks.
As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Tentacool, you will want to make sure to leave Fairy, Grass, Fire, Ground, Rock-types out. They all have at least one weakness to Tentacool’s attacks. Tentacool also carries Ghost moves, so be careful with Ghost, Psychic Pokemon.
