If you missed the cannon like power of the Heavy Sniper Rifle in Fortnite then you can look forward to finding it again in the game. These can be found in chests, rare chests, and supply drops at Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. They pack quite a punch and will dish out quite a bit of damage to vehicles, which makes them a great counter against tanks!
Here’s a look at how the stats have changed since the last release of the Heavy Sniper Rifle:
- Base Damage is 120/128/132
- Headshot nerfed from 200/200/200 to 180/192/198
- Builds Damage nerfed from 1000/1050/1100 to 600/630/660
- Reload Time buffed from 4.5/4.2/4 to 4/3.8/3.5
- Deals 640+ Damage to Vehicles
The new patch had some balancing done as well, which includes some changes to Combat SMGs:
- Combat and Stinger SMG damage to players and structures reduced
- Combat SMG headshot damage reduced to match the Stinger
- MK-Seven and Combat Assault Rifle damage to players and structures reduced
- Titan tanks and Cow Catchers have been removed from competitive playlists.
IO and Resistance forces have started to gather at The Daily Bugle, which is making for a pretty hectic area to fight in at the moment. However, if you can come out of it alive, you will find quite a bit of loot!
