THQ Nordic, the publisher behind Endling – Extinction is Forever and Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, just announced a Digital Showcase for August 11th, 2023. The event will feature major new announcements for upcoming and unannounced games, as well as updates for some of their released titles.

THQ Nordic’s developer and publisher HandyGames will host a pre-show. Content creators have been invited to co-stream the event, so there will also be a convenient license-free version. You can watch today’s trailer for the digital event on the THQ Nordic YouTube channel:

Today’s trailer showed off a lot of familiar games set to some neat little editing, and it’s very likely that each of these titles will be featured in the showcase somehow. Most of them are previously released games, so some interesting DLC should be expected.

Fans also got a glimpse of titles like Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, the puzzle platforming adventure that was just announced last week. The digital showcase is set for August, and Trine 5 is slated to launch on all major platforms this summer, which begins in June. So, the release date might be revealed ahead of the event.

There should be plenty of ports to reveal during the showcase. THQ Nordic has done a fine job of consistently expanding the platforms for their games. Last week, they revealed that a Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed port of its single player campaign is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next June. They even dabble in VR, and ported Townsmen VR to the PS VR2 last February.

However, that kind of range is surely the reason that any unannounced titles will be the highlight of the event. Everyone hopes to see them champion another innovative and memorable hit.
