Epic and Fortnite are no stranger to collaboration events, and has pretty much lead the way in terms of bringing various mediums of pop culture into gaming. It should be no surprise then that the upcoming release of the Uncharted movie, starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan will be appearing in Fortnite.

The current information on this collaboration of Uncharted and Fortnite is based on leaks, so it’s possible that things will change before the release. However, it seems fairly solid from the details that were found in the files. HYPEX, the well-known Fortnite leaker, found a challenge that will be released in week 11 that will have players collecting an “Uncharted Treasure Map” in the game.

Treasure Maps will be familiar to long-time players, as they were part of a season of Fortnite in the past. How they work would be that you would find the treasure map as a loot item. If you opened up the treasure map, you would be given an arrow on your screen that could be followed to a place you could dig. If you could survive long enough to reach the treasure, you would be rewarded with some Legendary gear!

From the leaks, it sounds like the treasure chests and map will be very similar to the past, so players will want to be seeking these out to get a ton of great loot.

You can also likely expect a cosmetic of Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan to arrive in the game. This would mark Tom Holland’s second skin in Fortnite, as the game recently received the Spider-Man No Way Home skin that depicted the actor.

The Uncharted movie is set to be released in theaters on February 11th, 2022 in the UK, and February 18th, 2022 in the United States!
