Valorant Esports just confirmed all the teams to be part of the Valorant Champions Tour 2023

Valorant Champions Tour 2022 in Istanbul just wrapped up with LOUD winning against OpTic Gaming in the Finals. A prize pool of 1,000,000 USD prize pool was spread among the winning teams. Now, supporters anticipate the new era of the Valorant Champions Tour and all the teams to be competing against one another.

In 2023, Riot will introduce three new VALORANT International Leagues with ten partnered teams each. These leagues will represent the highest level of play in the VCT. Earlier this year, Valorant Esports initiated a rigorous screening process to choose the league partners.

Riot has just selected the 30 teams joining to help build the next chapter of the Valorant Esport and offer incredible fan experiences. The determination of these organizations was based on three factors – organizations that share principles of putting fans first at all times, valuing diverse communities, and being devoted to helping professionals, and organizations that have forged a close bond with their supporters via the use of engaging content, an appealing brand, and an exciting roster, and long-term-oriented organizations with an emphasis on sustainability.

Meanwhile, here are the teams confirmed to be part of the VALORANT International Leagues:

  • Sentinels
  • 100 Thieves
  • Cloud9
  • NRG
  • Evil Geniuses
  • LOUD
  • MIBR
  • KRÜ Esports
  • Leviatán

  • Fnatic
  • Team Liquid

Given the large number of organizations that have applied for a partnership with Riot for the VCT 2023, it is unavoidable that some prominent teams do not make the cut. However, Valorant will run over 20 different Challengers leagues all across the globe. These leagues will provide a platform for local teams to compete for the opportunity to represent their region in the new Ascension tournaments.
