Riot Games is back again with its iconic animation in the cinematic trailer of Valorant’s upcoming agent, Fade, which recently launched at the 2022 Valorant Masters pre-show.
In the trailer, a “blackmailer” in Istanbul, Turkey is being pursued by Valorant agents Sova, Cypher, and Neon. Later on, Fade, who identified as the blackmailer, came on the scene and manifested her abilities, terrorizing all other featured agents. Fade is a Turkish agent, who will be released on April 26th along with Valorant Episode 4 Act III ‘Disruption.’ The new trailer shows off some of Fade’s abilities as the Valorant roster’s latest initiator agent. It appears that Fade’s abilities kit would include nullification of enemies’ abilities like KAY/O as she seems to be capable of manipulating her victim’s mind in the trailer. She may also have an intel ability similar to Skye’s Trailblazer, which casts a creature that can locate the enemies’ position. According to Riot, Fade is the last person you want to find in the dark, implying that she might also have a blind ability.
The release of the new trailer has also piqued the interest of fans who are eager to learn more about Fade’s significance in Valorant lore. For additional information, Valorant players may also refer to the previously added room in The Range, which seems to reveal a good deal about what is happening in Valorant’s story with the arrival of the new agent.
Valorant agent Fade has been teased for more than a week now, and has been brought up in prior leaks and speculations. After the Valorant Masters Reykjavík Grand Final celebrations, Valorant players would be given a first look at Fade’s gameplay.
