Vampire Survivors 1.0 update is set to arrive on October 20, 2022, offering the main contents of the game in addition to a few unexpected features.

Vampire Survivors is a roguelike shoot ’em up game developed and published by Luca Galante, otherwise known as poncle. On December 17, 2021, it became available to users via early access. In Vampire Survivors, players take control of a character that engages in automatic combat while defending themselves against unending hordes of enemies. The objective of the game is to endure the onslaught for the longest amount of time possible in order to gain access to new playable characters, weapons, and relics in subsequent playthroughs.

Recently, Vampire Survivors revealed that the v1.0 update is set to be made available for download on October 20th. The 1.0 update will mark the completion of the main content for the game. The roadmap has been completed with patch 0.11.3. As such, all the content that will be added in v1.0 will be a surprise. Nonetheless, the developers have hinted that there would be minor adjustments to the balance of items to make them more effective, with Santa Water/La Borra being the sole potential for a slight nerf since they tend to outperform almost everything else by an order of magnitude with no effort.

There will be a number of new achievements, and a few of the old ones will have new unlock requirements. Meanwhile, Save Data will not be altered. In the past several months, developers went through many revisions to ensure compatibility across PC, Mac, and Steam Deck. However, if anything goes wrong, a Data Recovery system is accessible in the Options menu.

Vampire Survivors will also be getting more official languages. When version 1.0 is released, the following languages will be officially supported by the game:

  • English
  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Turkish
  • Russian
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Korean
  • Japanese

Players will still be able to use custom language patches, but won’t be able to use fan translations once the game is in 1.0. Read more about the upcoming Vampire Survivors 1.0 here.
