Many gamers are looking forward to the brutal Metroidvania sequel Blasphemous 2. Given Xbox’s stellar service, I reckon many are undoubtedly hoping that The Game Kitchen’s intense game lands on Xbox Game Pass. So the question is, will Blasphemous 2 be on Game Pass for Xbox or PC?

Is Blasphemous II coming to Xbox/PC Game Pass?

The answer is no. Blasphemous 2 is not currently coming to Xbox/PC Game Pass at launch or any time that we know. Team 17 or The Game Kitchen has not issued a statement or anything of the sort to let the masses know to expect their game day one on Xbox Game Pass.

This will disappoint fans as Blasphemous 2 would be a good fit for the service, as it is a challenging and unique game that many gamers would enjoy. Plus, many players will be turned off by the difficulty and may give up relatively fast. If on Game Pass, they would stop playing without feeling they lost out.

Will Blasphemous 2 ever come to Xbox Game Pass?

From my experience, it’s extremely unlikely Blasphemous 2 will ever come to Xbox Game Pass. Never say never, but it’s improbable at best.

Even though Team 17 regularly releases their published games on the Game Pass service, such as My Time at Portia, Golf With Your Friends, Neon Abyss, Crown Trick, and more, the original Blasphemous is nowhere to be seen and released on September 10th, 2019. That’s been almost four years, and not a word of it appearing on the service.

Though it is available on PlayStation Plus Extra, maybe for PlayStation owners and fans in time, you’ll be able to play Blasphemous 2 on Plus Extra. But who knows? It’s all salt in the sand until The Game Kitchen or Team 17 releases an official statement.
