Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring some new additions to the game, which means there’s a lot of new pocket monsters out there that can be collected and battled against. When battling against certain Pokemon, it’s unclear what type they are initially, so learning which moves you should use is very important! Wooper Weaknesses
Wooper is a Water and Ground-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Electric, Grass, Ice, and Water-type moves. It is immune to Electric, and is resistant to Fighting, Poison, Rock, Bug, and Fairy attacks.
While any Electric, Grass, Ice, Water-type moves will be sufficient to finish of Wooper, you will want to focus on Special Attacks moves if you have them. Wooper has higher Physical Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Special Attacks.
As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Wooper, you will want to make sure to leave Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel, Fire, and Ground-types out. They all have at least one weakness to Wooper’s attacks. Wooper also carries Psychic and Poison moves, so be careful with Ground and Psychic Pokemon.
