How to become a Hybrid in Demonfall

The different races in Demonfall will determine what kind of playstyle you will be able to obtain. Humans/Slayers are able to obtain Breaths, whereas Demons are able to obtain Blood Arts. In the middle of these two are the Hybrids, who will be able to share a bit of both worlds in the game. We’ll take a look at what’s going on with this third race in this guide!

Creating a Hybrid Character

To become a Hybrid in Demonfall, you will need to head to the Hybrid trainer Kokushibo. You will need to be level 50 and you need 5 Muzan Blood. If you accept being a Hybrid, you will lose half your levels and go back to 25. You do NOT need to Prestige to be a Hybrid.

Follow the directions in the video below to locate the Hybrid trainer. Make sure you have the requirements before heading there.

What we do know about the Hybrid race is that it’s going to be an Oni with breathing style. The requirement to become Hybrid will involve you needing to be a strong swordsman. There will be a special quest that you can obtain from Muzan to make the transition. Finally, it looks like Hybrids will be the only race able to obtain Moon Breathing. So, that sounds like it could be fun for anyone who wants to dabble with both Human and Demon!

We will be expanding this guide further as soon as the Hybrid race is released into the game. There is no currently known timeframe on when it will release, but hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. The game has just released, so there’s a lot of stuff being worked on. We will just have to wait and see what the developers decide to focus on!
